Netnod and the The Swedish Internet Foundation (IIS) have together with operators, technicians and other stakeholders finished the first phase of three in a project to define, the various elements that constitute internet access.

The Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation in the Swedish Government has asked for comments on the by EU Commission Proposed Directive establishing the European Electronic Communications Code. Netnod has sent in comments (in Swedish).
Netnod congratulates the global Internet community on the successful transfer of the stewardship of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) functions to the global Internet community.
