Netnod installs WDM system at Telecity

At the moment Netnod is in the process of installing a WDM system at one of the carrier neutral colocation centres in Stockholm: The Telecity data centre in Bromma. 

Since the fibre part of the cost will decrease, we will be able to reclassify the colocation centre from outer city pricing to inner city pricing, which means we will lower the prices significally for the members located at Telecity.

This change will be carried out in the next few weeks. A channel in Netnod's DWDM system will replace the affected members' fibre connections; from Telecity data centre to Netnod Internet Exchange.

Since the member owns the internal patching at Telecity, all members will need to order patching to the DWDM system them selves. Members affected will receive an email with instructions on how and when to order new patching with Telecity closer to the date of the migration.
