Netnod presents government with reports on the state of critical infrastructure in Sweden
The first report was related to Project Särimner, a nationwide project focused on ensuring that information distribution in Sweden continues to operate effectively in crisis situations. The second report was focused on the new demands placed on Sweden’s digital infrastructure as digitalisation becomes increasingly important across all levels of society.
“To serve the changing needs of society, the infrastructure in Sweden needs well-structured improvements,” said Netnod’s Technical and Security Director, Patrik Fältström. “We need much better coordination of how fibre is deployed so that each and every player that wants to use fibre, including 5G providers, can build robust networks.”
