Per serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for SUNET, the Swedish Network for science and higher education. Additionally, he holds the position of board member at "Stiftelsen för Telematikens Utveckling" and serves as the chair of the NORDUnet Customer Advisory Group. With extensive expertise in designing large multinational optical and IP networks, Per previously served as the Network Manager for NORDUnet, the Nordic infrastructure for Research & Education, from 2007 to 2015.
His involvement extends to various European projects related to networking, funded by CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) or GÉANT (the European collaboration for national research and education networks). Furthermore, Per has contributed as a seconded expert on networking to other organisations.
