
Fredrik Lindeberg
Fredrik joined Netnod in October 2021 as a part of the Security Engineering team. His role is focused on internal processes, public policy development and the implications of policy on Netnod’s services.
In 2021, Fredrik defended his PhD-thesis, Coordinating the Internet: Thought styles, technology and coordination*. Prior to that, he worked as a systems engineer in the financial services sector with a focus on systems integration and replacement of dedicated communications networks and services for financial services over the Internet.
Fredrik has a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management with specialisation in Economic Information Systems and an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering.

Fredrik “freo” Olofsson
Fredrik Olofsson joined Netnod in September 2024. He holds a Masters of laws degree from Uppsala University. Before joining the Netnod team Fredrik worked at the Swedish post and telecom authority (PTS) as a jurist and case officer at the department for secure communications. At PTS Fredrik worked mostly with issues regarding robustness and preparedness in the telecom industry in times of peacetime perils and in preparations for war.
Fredrik is a big fan of properly functioning infrastructure.

Håkan Hellström
Håkan has worked for Netnod since 2000. He is an experienced IT project manager with several years of experience from working at the Swedish Defence with various IT projects. He is responsible for the operations team as well as the daily operations at Netnod.

Johanna Eriksson
Johanna joined Netnod in May 2018 as a member of the marketing team. She has experience running digital and event campaigns, developing partner channels and creating marketing materials with a focus on the Nordics.
Prior to joining Netnod, Johanna worked for ReadSoft Sverige AB (now a part of Kofax). She has qualifications in media and communications as well as in international sales and marketing.

Jörgen Thun
Jörgen joined Netnod in 2014 and is part of the operations team. Jörgen's role at Netnod is to install, maintain and develop infrastructure in data centres where Netnod is present. Before joining Netnod, he worked for Verizon and their high security data centre.

Kaj Kjellgren, M. Sc.
Since 2002, Kaj has worked for Netnod where his work focuses on peering and operations. He is a regular speaker at international conferences where he presents the latest technical developments and interconnection trends. In addition to the work Kaj does at Netnod, he also runs his own company on the side.
Kaj holds a Master of Science in Systems and Computer Science from Uppsala University. Before Netnod, he was the Technical Director for KPNQwest Sweden. He has also worked as a programmer at Ericsson Data and as a Technical Support Engineer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.

Lars-Johan Liman
In 1996, Lars-Johan was one of the co-founders of Netnod and has worked there ever since. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm where he also worked as a Senior Systems Specialist, focusing on the operation of IP networks and Unix systems. Lars-Johan is an expert in DNS and an experienced speaker. He works globally with protocol specifications and management of the DNS system. He has held positions in organisations such as the IETF and ICANN. Lars-Johan currently serves as chair of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) at ICANN, which audits the work of Public Techinical Identifiers (PTI), the ICANN affiliate that, among other things, administrates that DNS root zone. At a more local level, he works with the planning of Netnod operations of infrastructure systems. In addition to his work at Netnod, Lars-Johan gives courses in DNS and how the Internet works all over the world.

Madelene Tivås
Madelene joined Netnod in September 2023 as part of the SEC team.
Before joining Netnod, Madelene worked for the Swedish Armed Forces

Niklas Englund
Niklas joined Netnod in May 2021 as part of the SRE team. His role involves configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment and servers.
He previously studied IT forensics and information security at Halmstad University.
