Netnod hires Head of Research and Development

Patrik Fältström joins Netnod as Head of Research & Developoment

Netnod is happy to announce that Swedish Internet pioneer, Patrik Fältström, is joining Netnod as the Head of Research and Development.

"Patrik brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Netnod, which will help us further develop our services. He is a world expert on DNS and Patrik joining our team will raise our skill level, and thereby also benefit the users of the Netnod DNS services. His work in the field of Internet Governance is also something that Netnod, as a non-profit organisation, working for 'the Good of the Internet', is happy to support", said Netnod CEO, Kurt Erik Lindqvist.

"I am really looking forward to joining the Netnod team", said Patrik Fältström, "and as the Head of Research and Development, I will continue the work on securing and developing the DNS system. The Netnod team is well known around the world for their leading DNS services. I believe my background will bring some new experience to Netnod and hopefully also contribute to the development of new services".

Mr Fältström will start his employment at Netnod in January 2012.
