Netnod One Port enables customers to run multiple services over one port access.

This new framework enables customers to use their port access at the Netnod IX to run multiple services while preserving redundant ports for those that need it. Netnod One Port makes it easier for you to order, aggregate and administer your Netnod services. It also makes each added service more cost-effective optimising the value you get from your Netnod port.

How does Netnod One Port work?

You can use the Netnod Customer Portal to manage your port, add services and troubleshoot issues. With Netnod One Port, your invoice will be presented in a more transparent manner. It will clearly separate the cost of port access from the services delivered over that port giving you a clearer view of what you are paying for.

Who can use Netnod One Port?

New customers at the Netnod IX will automatically use the Netnod One Port framework. Existing customers will be moved to the Netnod One Port framework when they upgrade or order additional services.

There is no change to the Netnod services provided or the cost for these services. This is simply a way to streamline the way customers order, aggregate and administer their Netnod services.

Benefits of Netnod One Port

  • Consolidated Services: run multiple Netnod services over a single port
  • Ease of Administration: manage, order, and aggregate your Netnod services more easily
  • Cost-Effective: optimise the value of your Netnod port with each added service becoming more cost-effective (one port, one cross connect, but multiple services)

How will Netnod One Port work for customers who want redundant ports?

You will be able to run redundant ports exactly as before. If you order a redundant connection, you will need two cross connects and two ports. In that case, you will be guaranteed diverse paths to ensure redundancy.  Each port will be provided under the Netnod One Port framework. You can choose which services to add to which port.
