National Exercise on Telecommunication Infrastructure Crisis

During May 6-7, 2009, the staff at Netnod/Autonomica participates in a National Swedish Exercise on Telecommunication Infrastructure Crisis (Telö 09), arranged by The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS), where a theoretical crisis scenario based on terrorism is played out to a group of participating Internet service providers, Telephony operators, electrical power companies and other infrastructure related organisations. The staff at Netnod/Autonomica and the other participating  organisations will face a number of invented problems, and are expected to train their abilities to solve problems, prioritise, and cooperate with business peers.

The exercise is almost purely theoretical, and no impact is expected on any real services provided by Netnod / Autonomica. Any problems in the real world or service requests from actual customers will have immediate and absolute priority over the exercise.
