Kaj Kjellgren

Kaj Kjellgren, M. Sc.

Technical Ambassador

Since 2002, Kaj has worked for Netnod where his work focuses on peering and operations. He is a regular speaker at international conferences where he presents the latest technical developments and interconnection trends. In addition to the work Kaj does at Netnod, he also runs his own company on the side.

Kaj holds a Master of Science in Systems and Computer Science from Uppsala University. Before Netnod, he was the Technical Director for KPNQwest Sweden. He has also worked as a programmer at Ericsson Data and as a Technical Support Engineer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.

Letterio Leo Bernava

Letterio "Leo" Bernava

Global Interconnection Relations Manager

Leo joined Netnod in December 2020. He is responsible for building and developing relations with Netnod’s international customers. 

Prior to joining Netnod, Leo worked for 9 years in the telecom industry. His roles at C-sam AB and Telia Company were focused on building customer relations.

Lars-Johan Liman

Lars-Johan Liman

Senior Systems Specialist and co-founder

In 1996, Lars-Johan was one of the co-founders of Netnod and has worked there ever since. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm where he also worked as a Senior Systems Specialist, focusing on the operation of IP networks and Unix systems. Lars-Johan is an expert in DNS and an experienced speaker. He works globally with protocol specifications and management of the DNS system. He has held positions in organisations such as the IETF and ICANN. Lars-Johan currently serves as chair of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) at ICANN, which audits the work of Public Techinical Identifiers (PTI), the ICANN affiliate that, among other things, administrates that DNS root zone. At a more local level, he works with the planning of Netnod operations of infrastructure systems. In addition to his work at Netnod, Lars-Johan gives courses in DNS and how the Internet works all over the world.
